What is Green Theater?

Simply, an artistic practice of becoming more sustainable, more aware, more inspired and less wasteful. Internationally, Green Theater is still being defined and will continue to be redefined as the world changes, new technologies are born and knowledge is gained and shared. At Superhero Clubhouse, each of our show’s artistic team determines the rules that make their particular production Green, so that we might adapt in conjunction with the evolution of the global Green movement. SHC believes that by practicing Green Theater, community is intrinsically strengthened, budgetary expenses are shrunk and creativity ultimately reigns.
